		<description>I&#039;m 59, took up cycling in earnest in June 09 with a transition from a hybrid leisure bike to a full &#039;road&#039; bike ( Scott CR 1 ) I have a first year target of 5000 miles and manage around 100 miles a week, typically 23 25 mile rides, maybe a 35-50 on the weekend.
My initial weight was 15.5 stone and fell to 14.5 after a month but stayed there. I rode 75 last weekend and put on weight!
My time for the 50 was 3&#039;25&quot; average 15+ mph, I do a 25 at around 17-8 mph alone. My diet is good, I don&#039;t eat junk; why am I not losing weight as I&#039;d hoped?</description>
